Bridge Street Cottages is at a great location. It's inside a town with lots of restaurants and coffee shops that are walking distance. The cottage is also a 45 minute drive to Glacier National Park West entrance. The inside of the cottage is cute and … More homey. However, since covid, there are no housekeeping services. So you need to take out the trash and put dirty towels on the porch every morning, which is funny since these cottages are "luxury vacation rentals". Also, Abigail's customer service is non-existent. Every time I spoke to her on the phone she was condescending and rude like talking to me was the last thing she wanted to do.

All of this is great, but put it next to the beautiful Swan River and a short walk to downtown Bigfork ....shops, first class restaurants and an outdoor music venue that is one of the coziest places in the country....it's over the top! The cottages, as described by other reviewers, are gems. Over many years, we have stayed in city and country accommodations around our Country. Some are memorable in a positive or negative sense. The.Bridge Street Cottages are far and above the most comfortable in every way. They are meticulously clean and graciously appointed. The manager, Abigail, delights with her concerns and quick response for any needs, always, with a wonderful smile and demeanor. Coming back feels like going home.

We've stayed at a lot of hotels, but this cottage is absolutely the nicest. Our spacious cottage was within an easy walk from downtown Bigfork. (A delightful tourist destination, in case you haven't experienced it) We were only a few feet from … More the rushing river, that alone would have made it worth staying. The grounds were nicely manicured, with lots of flowers blooming. The cottage was beautifully decorated, nicely laid out with a full kitchen and even W/D tucked into what I first thought was a pantry closet. We were there for a reunion, and easily entertained 12 people for a lunch in our cottage. The down comforter and pillows were luxurious and the bed comfy. A convenient, large desk to work at if needed. The bathroom featured two old fashioned appearing (though clearly not old) pedestal sinks, wainscoting, a pretty glass fronted cabinet for linens, and a separate toilet/shower room. The living room featured a gas fireplace that could heat the entire space, and there was a nice grill on the roomy porch that overlooked the river. Staff was friendly, helpful and were just plain nice people. The only thing that could have used an update is the sagging couch, but it was tolerable. This place was not inexpensive, in fact it was the most costly place we stayed during our two week trip, but it was worth every penny.
*A lovely bonus was the tiny, marshmallow sized, hummingbird nest we found on a small branch next to the porch. One morning the hummer was in the nest and, when she flew away we discovered she'd laid an egg - we worried it would get cold, but she soon came back and pushed it down into the nest, covering it with fluff.
